Peer Pressure
Sometimes the influence of a guy’s
friends can have a prickly effect on a relationship.
The Struggle
Women who are emotionally balanced and psychologically healthy are deeply attracted to a man's equilibrium of masculinity and feminity. A woman must have a glimpse of some of the guy's feminine traits in order to allow herself to be pursued by him. She must be able to experience his gentleness and sensitivity without being privy to his self-doubts, ambivalence toward women, old hurts, resentments, prejudices and feelings of inadequacy. Although there are some who think they can fix him, an emotionally healthy woman would be justifiably uninterested in pursuing a relationship with a guy who, during the dating stage, exposed these unflattering traits. |
